Here goes, as most of you know my main platform of choice is android so I will be fare as possible when reviewing my new Iphone5S. One, apps fly open, they just don’t just open. As soon as you double tap an app its open and no lag even if its system intensive. The WYFI issue where sometimes my former Iphone5 would connect to a wyfi like my home wyfi but other times it simply could not see a wyfi signal. Also, The lag switching between home screen pages I saw on the 5 are gone, there is no lag what so ever. Now for web surfing, what can I say; it keeps up with Firefox for android that is impressive to me. I actually like the finger print scanner, its quite useful unlocking your screen and installing apps.

Oh, it has a easier time holding a singal in my area where my apartment is unlike my former IPhone5 which could not hold a singal if it were held by gun point to do so.

I agree with both of these posts. I have had my i-phone 5s for a few months, and I can spend hours playing with it.

Wow, that is impressive. I hope I can get one eventually. I am content with my 4S for the time being, but it would be cool if the apps could open up a little quicker.

Are either of you having the issues that were reported on Applevis, with the volume not going past 35%, and some sound distortion? I've played with an iPhone 5C, but never the 5S. I'm not due for an upgrade for a while so will probably wait until the next iPhone comes out at the end of this year.

That problems fixed. Mine never had it.
The thing with the finger print deal is it won't work if your hands are slight wet, or you've just put lotion on.
My brother has the same issue with his. Your hands must be dry, and not to soft. Like after washing dishes, even if you have dried your hands, you have to wait a bit before it will work.
Beautiful phone though.
I had the 4S, and have used a 5, and for us, the blind, there seems to not be much difference as far as performance goes.

I have a question: If the finger print thing doesn't work--because, say, your hands are slightly wet at a given moment in time, as wayne mentioned, can you then opt to unlock your phone the good old-fashioned way via the number pad? Or is the number lock disabled if you have the fingerprint ID enabled?

Yair! You use the numbers. There is a button in the OS that says unlock. Same place if you've upgraded to 7.
You tap it and the numbers are ready.
The phone works with or without finger print the same.
